Enterprise Application and Server Support Specialist Job Details
As an Enterprise Application and Server Support Specialist, you will be leading projects to upgrade and maintain enterprise applications and servers. This will include presenting clear and consistent communication on the state of upgrades and maintenance to the application or infrastructure owner. You will work with IT application owners, business application owners and other IT team members to run and manage these upgrade and maintenance projects.


  • Perform maintenance and upgrade activities on servers and enterprise applications
  • Provide clear and professional communication project status
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise during projects
  • Plan and facilitate testing of server and enterprise application upgrades and maintenance in TEST environment before moving to PROD
  • Address issues directly where applicable, building skills over time to solve more technical problems before escalating
  • 3-5 years of experience working in an Application Support, Server Admin or related position
  • Experience running Server and Application upgrades and maintenance
  • Experience with Server 2008/2012/2016
  • Technical skills in SQL (preferred)
  • Scripting skills (preferred)
  • Experience with Oracle (preferred)
  • Experience with VMWare (preferred)
  • Experience with Financial Services applications (preferred)
  • Excellent and professional written and oral communication skills
